Rich and smooth 100% Agave spirit, aged over 14 months in Virgin American White Oak Casks with a profound oaky nose of cocoa, dried figs and a subtle smoky background. Our Añejo deserves time, and reveals layered flavors and complexity.
100% Agave spirit, aged in Ex-Cabernet Sauvignon Wine Barrels from KRSMA Estates with forward notes of black cherries, cloves and a subtle floral background. Much like any fine vintage, swirling helps open up our Rosa so that the palate can taste dark fruit with a hint of nuttiness. The tannins are showcased in a smooth and subtle manner adding to its character.
Wild Agave Americana plants from India’s Deccan are carefully sorted through and the mature ones that have reached 8 to 10 years are selected.
The thorny leaves are removed and the heart of the Agave, or Piña, is left.
These Piñas are then cooked using steam and high pressure to bring out their natural sugars.
After the Piñas are cooked, they are milled and then bio-fermented using naturally-occurring yeast in a wooden vat.
The resultant wash is then double distilled in a half-copper pot still.
Once distilled, the liquid is transported to the shores of Goa and aged in a combination of Virgin American White Oak and two varieties of Ex-Bourbon casks.
Finally, aged Agave spirit from various casks is blended, non-chill filtered and bottled. No artificial additives or colouring agents are used.
